Integration and setup description

Connection

To configure the connection between the two systems you need to enter the SAP Business One connection and company details into the Site Manager. In the configuration view the user can test the connection between the systems.

Replication setup and initial replication

After the configuration has been finalized in the Site Manager, and LS One and SAP Business One have been connected, it is time to pull the needed information from SAP Business One to LS One.

The replication jobs need to be configured to connect to the correct database before they can be run. When that is done the All from SAP Business One job can be run to get the initial data from SAP Business One into LS One.

The scenarios called in the job will send all requested information to the LS One database. At this point all the Items, item groups, prices, barcodes, tax settings, units and unit conversions will be sent from SAP Business One to LS One.

Warehouse, Account and Credit Card mapping

Now the final store/site configuration can be done in the Site Manager such as selecting a tax group for the default store. This default store can then be replicated to create stores/sites for each warehouse in the SAP Business One database. The Site Manager uses the LS One Site Service to pull the warehouse information from the SAP Business One and allows the user to create sites/stores for every warehouse. This is done by performing warehouse mapping in the Site Manager.

Also for the account mapping the Site Manager fetches the account information needed from SAP Business One. The user can, in LS One, specify to which account incoming, outgoing and card payment amounts are booked.

At last the credit cards from SAP Business One need to be mapped to LS One card and payment types.

Data updates

When an item, customer or any other data, that should flow to LS One, is changed in SAP Business One the changes need to be sent to LS One.

In LS One the user can schedule a job that can run on a schedule regularly during the day that will replicate the items and related information, another job for customers and so on. These job will trigger the SAP Business One Connector to run specific scenarios that send the specified data to LS One.

Posting Transactions

When we have the replication up and running and are receiving changes from SAP Business One to LS One we can start selling items at the LS One POS.

At the POS there are many types of transactions such as login, sales, returns and cash management transactions. Transactions that contain sales, returns or any cash flow lines will be replicated from LS One to SAP Business One where a document is created and posted.

The Post transactions to SAP Business One job will send the transactions from LS One head office to SAP Business One. For further information about the jobs read this.
