Configurations for LS Pay

To connect your LS One POS to LS Pay you need to do the following:

Activate LS Pay in hardware profile

Hardware profiles are used for multiple LS One POSs. If not all POSs are to be connected to payment devices you need to create a new hardware profile for your POS and make sure to select all the hardware you are using.

To find which hardware profile a POS is using:

  1. Go to Sites > [Sites/Terminals] Terminals

  2. Find the terminal and select to edit it.

  3. All the profiles are selected in the header of the Terminal view.

  4. You can press the edit button to open the hardware profiles view

Hardware profile configuration:

  1. Find the hardware profile for your terminal select to edit it

  2. In the hardware profile view open the Credit card service tab

  3. Activate the credit card service

  4. Select Use LS Pay

  5. Enter a description for this LS Pay connection. This is optional information just for you.

  6. Enter the name or IP address of the server running the LS Pay service. If the LS Pay service is running locally on each POS machine you can enter localhost

  7. Enter the service port number LS Pay is setup for. The default port is 5050

Terminal configuration

When LS Pay has been activated on the hardware profile you need to select an LS Pay plugin for each of your terminals.

  1. Go to Sites > [Sites/Terminals] Terminals

  2. Find the terminal and select to edit it.

  3. Open the LS Pay settings tab.

If there is no tab called LS Pay settings this terminal does not have a hardware profile with LS Pay activated. See above: Activate LS Pay in hardware profile.

  4. You can either use the connection settings for LS Pay entered in the hardware profile or override them for each terminal. To do that select Use local LS Pay server and fill in the connection details.

  5. Select which LS Pay plugin to user for this terminal. If you have a connection to your LS Pay service and have configured the plugins then you can press the Get list from LS Pay service and then select your plugin from the drop down list. Otherwise you should type in the Connection ID of your LS Pay plugin.

  6. If your PSP support referenced refunds, that is a refund to a specific prior payment then the setting Supports reference refunds should be selected. If the PSP does not support referenced refunds deselect this option to save some time in letting the POS first try a referenced refund before falling back on a standalone refund.

Configure from the LS One POS

The plugin selection can also be done from the LS One POS application.

  1. Run the LS One POS.

  2. Before logging in to the POS select Settings > Configure EFT

  3. Press the confirm button in the message that appears.

  4. Log in with a user that has the Manage hardware profile on POS permission

  5. Select LSPay in the EFT module dialog, that is if it is not already selected, and press Configure

  6. The LS Pay settings dialog contains the same settings as the terminal configuration in the Site Manager. If you have already configured the connection to the correct LS Pay service in the hardware profile it is sufficient to press the Get plugin list button and then select the correct LS Pay plugin from the drop down list.

  7. When that is done press the OK button to continue with the login.
