Scenario Package

The LS One SAP Business One Scenario Package includes all scenarios needed for LS One to send and retrieve the required data to and from SAP Business One.

We can divide the scenarios in the scenario package into three categories depending on their functionality

Data replication scenarios

The sync scenarios select all data from the specified tables in the SAP Business One database and send to the LS One Integration Framework. The LS One Integration Framework assigns the data to the correct business objects and saves to the LS One database.

Data retrieval scenarios

The following scenarios are getting data from SAP Business One in real time and used for initial setup of the integration and for viewing on-hand inventory status. The get scenarios are not returning information to the LS One Integration Framework like the sync scenarios but rather directly through the LS One Site Service.

Data posting scenarios

LS One sends sales data to SAP Business One using the following scenarios to create documents and payments on the SAP Business One side. The DI-API is used for posting sales data from LS One to SAP Business One.

Post transactions scenarios that use DI-API:

• PostCreditNote
• PostInvoice
• PostIncomingPayment
• PostOutgoingPayment

Starting with LS One to SAP Business One Integration Package v3.0, none of the post transactions scenarios will show as failed in SAP Business One integration framework monitoring log. Instead, the DI-API error is passed back to LS One and can be viewed in Data Director logs.

To view the failed scenarios in SAP Business One integration framework monitoring log you have to change Stop processing if fails to true for each B1 object atom in all 4 scenarios.

 

Other scenarios

There is one scenario that does not fit to any of the categories above an that is the Ping scenario. It is used to verify the connection between the LS One Site Manager and Integration to SAP Business One Integration Framework and back.
